On August 1st and 2nd, 2019, at the High Command of Naval Region 2 - Long Son Military Base (Vung Tau City), Hung Thinh Corp awarded VND 8 billion to the collective of officers and soldiers of 15 offshore platforms; at the same time, the High Command of Naval Region 4 - Cam Ranh military base (Khanh Hoa province), the Corp also awarded VND 21 billion for 21 sites and islands belonging to Truong Sa archipelago. The program was honored to be attended by Vice President Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Battalion DK1, on August 1, the Vice President and the Central Delegation visited and gave gifts to the Naval Region 2 officers and soldiers, Brigade 167, Battalion DK1 delegation to celebrate 30 years of DK1 – copper citadel at sea. At the event, Hung Thinh Corp has donated 15 gifts, each worth VND 500 million to the soldiers who are working at 15 offshore platforms with total value of VND 7.5 billion. At the same time, on this occasion, Hung Thinh Corp decided to donate an additional VND 500 million to DK1 offshore platform for soldiers to have more motivation to overcome difficulties.
In addition, on August 2nd, at the visit and working with Navy units under High Command of Region 4 located in Cam Ranh base including: Submarine Brigade 189, Naval Air Force Brigade 954, Brigade 146, Fisheries Resources Surveillance Division 4...of the Vice President and the Central Delegation, the Corp also donated VND 21 billion to 21 sites, islands of Truong Sa Archipelago to contribute in improving the material and spiritual life for the soldiers and people working, living on the islands of Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province.
Speaking at the program, the Vice President praised Hung Thinh Corp for having made many positive contributions to social security activities as well as sea and island programs for the past time.
Supported by the Vice President and the Office of the President, creating opportunities for Hung Thinh Group to accompany many social activities – communities nationwide, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of Hung Thinh Corp shared: “This gift is not great but it’s the love and heart of the collective of nearly 3,000 employees of Hung Thinh Corp, hoped to warm up the hearts of the soldiers in the far island. This is not only our affection but also partial contribution of the enterprise to the officers and soldiers who spent their whole years to protect the country. Whatever the role or mission is, we all work together for a dear Vietnam. ”
During the 17-year journey of establishment and development, besides business activities, Hung Thinh Corp has always actively participated in social and community activities. Today's gifts for naval soldiers continue the meaningful activities of the Corp in implementing the mission on the journey for its community.
